The Institute for Translational Oncology Research (ITOR) of Greenville Health System (GHS) has collaborated with H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute to offer Total Cancer Care in Upstate South Carolina.
As part of an elite group of National Cancer Institute (NCI) Comprehensive Cancer Centers, Moffitt focuses on the development of early stage translational research aimed at the rapid translation of scientific discoveries to benefit patient care.

Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center
The Greenville Health Systems Heme Center of Excellence is directed by Suzanne Fanning, DO, a fellowship trained hematologist, who is also the lead physician for the GHS Blood and Marrow Transplant Program. AS the GHS Cancer Center liaison to the Duke University Heme Consortium, Dr. Fanning facilitates early-phase hematologic malignancy trials into ITOR of GHS.
The Duke program combines state of the art, compassionate medical care with innovative science to improve outcomes for patients battling leukemias, lymphomas, and other blood and lymphoid related cancers.
